PRIVATES GREY AND BROOKS.
Crystal Brook May 13.
Feelings of regret, mingled with pride, were expressed on all sides yesterday when word was received that Privates M. Grey and D. Brooks had been wounded in the operations at the Dardanelles.
Private Grey, who for a year or so had been residing in Port Pirie, was previous to that in Crystal Brook for about eight years, and his parents still reside here. He is well and favorably known.
Private Brooks was employed as teller at the local branch of the National Bank for about twelve months prior to enlisting, and during his residence here made many friends.
