SERGEANT MACGILLIVRAY.
Sergeant Ivor Eric MacGillivray, whose death on the Gallipoli Peninsula has been recorded, was the only son of Mr. I. MacGillivray, M.P. of Port Adelaide. He was born in the district, and was 20 years of age. Before he joined the First Contingent. Sergeant MacGillivray was serving his apprenticeship as an engineer with the firm of Forwood, Down. & Co. He had had previous military training in the cadet and citizen forces, and was a fine young man.
