LIEUTENANT E. J. SEXTON.
Lieutenant Eric James Sexton is a member of the South Australian contingent of the first Expeditionary Force. He is a son of the late Mr. R. J. Sexton, post- master, of Port Adelaide, and formerly of Mount Gambier, and is 21 years and 8 months old. He was born at Mount Gambier and educated at the local Grammar School, but when he enlisted he was residing at Alberton and was employed by Messrs. Dalgety & Co., Adelaide. Prior to leaving South Australia he was adjutant of the 76th Infantry, Citizen Forces, and in military circles was looked upon as a most promising subaltern. He is a brother of the Rev. H. E. Sexton, curate of All Saints Anglican Church, Hindmarsh.
