THE LATE CAPTAIN H. MENZ.
Captain Herbert B. Menz was born in Adelaide. He left South Australia some years ago with his father for Boulder, Western Australia, and left that State for the front in June.
After being in Egypt a few weeks he went to Gallipoli; and was in the trenches for four or five weeks. He contracted enteric fever, and died in hospital at Alexandria on November 27. He was highly respected in Boulder, and had been connected with the military forces for some years.
He left a widow and infant daughter and was a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. West, of Kent Town, and Mr. A. Menz, of Kindermann's Cafe.
